My Thoughts:

This. Stuff. Is. Bomb. Seriously. Since having baby number 3 a few weeks ago, I have been the most neglectful natural hair mom to my two older daughters. We’re not even going to talk about the state of my hair during that time — no bueno and a ratchet scarf is all I’ll say.

I almost forgot that I had this bad boy on the shelf to use up (you know, with my c section pains and such). But boy, let me tell you. This stuff does exactly what is claims on the front and back of the bottle. For those days when I could not even think about washing hair, I grabbed a dime to quarter size amount of this stuff, applied it to the strands of both of my girls (with two completely different hair types – ‘s’ curls & ‘z’ curls) & BAM, honey! Instant moisturization up in this piece. Like buttah! The texture is not too heavy and yet not runny. It’s a good balance.

The only reason this product didn’t receive a full five rating is due to the smell. It’s a tad overwhelming. Think cupcakes, pound cake, birthday cake, cake frosting, those sugar sticks people stir in coffee con leche….Just instant sweety goodness. Not bad, just a bit much.

My Thoughts:

This product is….interesting. It truly is a paste, however not really my texture preference of a pomade. It did not lay those edges down as I would have hoped, but rather just sat on top of the hair and skin, sort of like grease. The smell is awesomeness though.

I’m not going to  completely give up on the product yet. The jury is still out.
